Landmarks Downtown Walking Tours is a program of Landmarks Association of St. Louis, Inc.
Our experienced volunteer tour leaders will introduce you to the fascinating history, culture and rich built environment of St. Louis. We find that our guests are interested in the stories of how the buildings fit into the culture and the history of the city as well as how the buildings relate to the city. Our goal is to provide an entertaining and educational experience for all of our guests.
How long do the tours take and how far will we walk?
Tours last 2 1/2 hours and are held rain or shine. Expect to walk approximately 2 miles at a moderate pace. Tours are open to individuals or groups of 1 to 9 people. For groups of 10 or more, please contact us.
Where should I park?
Surface lot and garage parking is available throughout downtown. Two-hour metered parking is available on the street. Download the Park Louie App to pay for parking and to add time to your meter. Metro stops are conveniently located. Use the Eighth and Pine station for the East Tour; Union Station for the West Tour; and either Convention Center or Laclede's Landing for the Washington Avenue Tour.
